Horticulture + Food Science Technology Lab

The students learn about use of hand tools, garden tools, such as budding and grafting knife, pruning knife and secateurs for plant propagation, pruning and training activities, post harvest management of fruits vegetables i.e. preparation of jam, jelly, Pickles, candy and canning and their packaging methods. The laboratory has sophisticated equipment's such as hand& Digital Refractometer , Weighing balance, Seed germinator, hand horticulture tools kit, Fruit Penetrometer, budding and grafting knife, Fruit crusher, Sieve shaker, Pulper, Distillation unit, Hi-tech Polyhouse with drip irrigation, Muffle furnace etc.
