The Department of mathematics has been embedded in the mines of the college in 1981. Master in mathematics has been started in 2010. Appropriately mathematics education tool is an honored place in the curriculum. It is not surprising that the record of progress is improving every year. Since the department has come a long way, pioneering in mathematics by successfully keeping up with the high-end requirement and focusing on students' professional development by conducting various activities such as workshops, quiz competitions, exhibitions etc. From its inception to present, the department has evolved in several directions with other departments of college. Apart from college library, dept. has its own library where students get benefited from books whenever they want. Dept. also donates books to needy students. Department is trying to be in place according to the era of education. We have achieved a lot and yet remained more to competent.
